Bill Knight
CEO
Bill started his career as a laborer in 1988. With experience and education, Bill quickly became a leading project estimator. He recognized a necessity in the construction industry for specialized selective demolition, disposal, dismantling and recycling services; so, in 1999 he created B&B Demolition Ltd.
B&B Demolition started as a very small organization, employing only four people. Today, the company has forty-six team members. Bill was the first person in Canada to earn Gold Seal Certification by the Construction Association in estimating and safety for the demolition industry.
Bill's focus is to find superior, safer, and more cost effective ways to satisfy his customers.
In 2010 Bill finished in the top three for the Small Business leader of the year award by the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and was nominated for 2010 National Philanthropy Day awards. Bill has been an Alberta's Promise Partner since 2009 for the support he provides to children's charities in Alberta.
Bill is a member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) as well as the Edmonton Executives Association (EEA). He has a Gold Seal Certification in Construction (GSC) and is a National Safety Officer (NSO) in Construction.

Penny McEwan
General Manager
Penny has been a part of the B&B Demolition team since 2002. Penny has worked her way up through all of the positions in B&B. Starting in the shop as a tool driver, Penny became involved in field operations, safety, project management, and estimating. Her vast knowledge of the company, as well as the construction industry has allowed her to move into the General Manager role. Second only to the CEO, Penny is responsible for the smooth operation of all facets of B&B. Her excellent leadership skills and technical knowledge make her the perfect fit for the job.

Lorraine Semenuik
Office Manager
Lorraine has been with B&B since 2000. She was educated in accounting from NAIT, and continues to pursue education in many other facets of management and business. Lorraine has played a key role in growing and sustaining B&B over the years. She has implemented many of the office systems and processes that are currently in use today. From accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, Lorraine has played a part in all of B&B's operations. Lorraine is also the office contact for all of the charitable organizations that B&B sponsors.
Lorraine is a member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and has graduated from Dale Carnegie.

Ben Knight
Sr. Estimator
Ben started at B&B Demolition in 2001. He has dedicated himself to grow within the company, and has held many positions before becoming a full time estimator. His experience in the field and in safety enables Ben to estimate projects with a unique understanding of all details of the job. Ben is always striving to achieve excellence in the industry, and satisfy his customers.

Ernie Kotylak
Estimator
Ernie started with B&B in November of 2012, bringing over 30 years of demolition experience to the team. Ernie has 18 years of experience as an owner in the demolition industry, and brings a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise to B&B's team.
In his free time, Ernie volunteers at the St. Albert Food Bank, as well as his local church.

Adam Burg
Estimator
Adam started with B&B Demolition in August of 2012. Adam comes from a diverse background in construction, bringing over 12 years of experience to the team. Prior to joining B&B, Adam owned his own business, giving him a very good understanding of the level of dedication and effort it takes to be successful in the construction industry. Adam has worked his way through the ranks, gaining valuable knowledge and experience about all facets of construction. His addition will strengthen B&B's team for years to come.
Adam has earned his certification in blueprint reading from NAIT and enjoys volunteering in the annual back to school backpack drive. He also volunteers at the Mustard Seed.

Project Manager

Randy Simms
Superintendent
Randy started with B&B in November of 2012, bringing 6 years of demolition experience to the team. Randy also has 30 years of experience as an automotive technician, and has received his degree from NAIT in automotive technology. B&B is very happy to have Randy on board.
In his free time Randy volunteers at his local church, enjoys camping with his family, and volunteers his service in sound and lighting production.

Derek Hodgson
Safety Officer
Derek started with B&B Demolition Ltd in April of 2013, bringing 12 years of safety experience to B&B's team. Educated traditionally in construction, Derek is making his first leap into the world of demolition at B&B. Derek has been a member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering since 2005, and spends his free time coaching local hockey teams. Derek's first priority will be to ensure that all B&B projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Cherise Peterson
Human Resources Manager
Cherise started with B&B in May of 2012, and brings close to five years of HR experience to the team. With a large portion of her previous experience dealing in industrial recruiting, Cherise hopes to improve the quality of B&B's workforce substantially. Her strong human resources experience has granted her the ability to improve the infrastructure of B&B's newest department. Her stong knowledge in HR will greatly improve B&B's efficiency and professionalism.

Steven Knight
Marketing & I.T. Manager
Steven started with B&B in April of 2011 and is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Alberta School of Business. He is in charge of all of B&B's marketing initiatives including social media, special events, and advertising in the Edmonton area. He is also B&B's photographer, and is responsible for all of the photos you will see in the photo gallery. Recently Steven has stepped into a more technical role, managing B&B's I.T. department. Steven brings three years of photography and marketing experience to the team, and is responsible for making B&B the most well known demolition company in Edmonton.
Steven has voulenteered with the West Edmonton Raiders Fooball Club for the past four years, acting as an offensive coordinator and sponsorship manager. B&B is also proud to support the West Edmonton Raiders.

Sean Hopper
Dispatcher
Sean has been with B&B since 2007. Sean was promoted to the role of training manager because of his excellent work in the field, as well as his strong ability to teach. He quickly grew into the role of dispatcher, responsible for the coordination of all tools, equipment, and personell on every job site. Sean comes from an IT background, working in the industry for 12 years before joining B&B's team. Sean's main objective is to ensure that all B&B team members in the field are educated and able to complete projects to the best of their ability.

Ben Jackson
Training Manager
Ben joined the B&B team in April of 2013, adding 14 years of demolition experience to the company. Before joining B&B, Ben owned The Wrecking Crew, where he specialized in interior demolition in Edmonton's downtown core. Ben's experience and wealth of knowledge will assist B&B's team in growing and learning the newest, most innovative ways of doing demolition. Ben regularly volunteers for local events like the MS walk, and the Cycle for Autism.

Nicole Robertson
Office Adminstrator
Nicole has been with B&B since mid-2012 and brings four years of executive experience to the organization. Nicole started as B&B's receptionist and quickly grew to become the office administrator, responsible for all of the accounts payable and payroll. In addition, she works tirelessly in her community, coaching youth cheerleading teams.

Megan Heyden
Receptionist
Megan joined B&B in 2013 as our receptionist. She came to Edmonton from Ontario, where she earned her diploma in Business Marketing. She enjoys volunteering at her local church, as well as at community events like Tim Horton's Camp Day. Megan is the first friendly voice that you will hear on the phone at B&B, and the first smiling face to greet you as you come through the door.

Ounce
Guard Dog
Ounce has been B&B's shop dog since 2005. If you stop by B&B, Ounce will be the first one to meet you at the door with a wagging tail and big smile. Bill Knight adopted Ounce from the SPCA, giving him a loving family at B&B.
