Bill Knight
CEO

Bill started his career as a laborer in 1988. With experience and education, Bill quickly became a leading project estimator. He recognized a necessity in the construction industry for specialized selective demolition, disposal, dismantling and recycling services; so, in 1999 he created B&B Demolition Ltd.

B&B Demolition started as a very small organization, employing only four people. Today, the company has forty-six team members. Bill was the first person in Canada to earn Gold Seal Certification by the Construction Association in estimating and safety for the demolition industry.

Bill's focus is to find superior, safer, and more cost effective ways to satisfy his customers.

In 2010 Bill finished in the top three for the Small Business leader of the year award by the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and was nominated for 2010 National Philanthropy Day awards. Bill has been an Alberta's Promise Partner since 2009 for the support he provides to children's charities in Alberta.

Bill is a member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) as well as the Edmonton Executives Association (EEA). He has a Gold Seal Certification in Construction (GSC) and is a National Safety Officer (NSO) in Construction.

Lorraine Semenuik
Office Manager

Lorraine started her career with B&B demolition in 2000. As office manager, Lorraine is responsible for the daily administrative operation of B&B Demolition. She directs the administration of all office procedures ranging from correspondence and communication with customers, to understanding the requirements of the executive and staff of B&B. Lorraine coordinates and implements B&B Demolition's contributions to the many charitable organizations the company supports.

Lorraine is a member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce and has graduated from Dale Carnegie.

Ben Knight
Estimator

Ben started at B&B Demolition in 2001. He has dedicated himself to grow within the company, and has held many positions before becoming a full time estimator. His experience in the field and in safety enables Ben to estimate projects with a unique understanding of all details of the job. Ben is always striving to achieve excellence in the industry, and satisfy his customers.

Penny McEwan
Superintendant/Jr. Estimator

Penny has been a part of the B&B Demolition team since 2002. Penny has advanced in the company from field operations, safety officer, site supervisor, and project manager into the Jr. Estimating department. Her vast knowledge of the industry is an asset to her in her current role. Her diverse background has allowed her to provide a high level of customer satisfaction to her clients.

Kerry Beer
Superintendant

Kerry started with B&B in 2012, bringing over thrity-five years of experience in the construction industry to the team. Kerry began his construction career in Ontario, gaining a wide skillset in construciton and asbestos removal before coming to Alberta. Kerry's knowledge and certificaiton in asbestos removal is a large asset to B&B, and his leadership assists him in supervising a multitude of job sites.

Mark Hammond
Safety Officer

Mark joined the B&B team in 2012. He is originally from Newfoundland and came to Alberta in 2006. Mark is a certified safety officer, and received his certification from the Alberta Construction Safety Association. Mark takes pride in maintaining an active role in the ACSA. He also brings a vast background in both the oilfield and construction industries to B&B's team.

Faith Chester
Human Resources Manager

Faith started her career with B&B as the Human Resources Manager in 2012. Faith brings fifteen years of industrial recruiting and operations management, creating a team oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high job performance. Faith is responsible for team member relations, maintaining high employment standards in both training and working conditions, and complying with recent labour laws. She also works hand in hand with the safety department to ensure that all team members are trained and familiar with B&B's strict safety policies.

Teresa Chrisp
Receptionist/ Office Assistant

Teresa started her career with B&B Demolition in 2011 as a receptionist and office assistant. Teresa is responsible for running the frontdesk, and helps all staff with day to day office procedures. She is the friendly voice on the phone, and the first smiling face customers see as they walk in the door.

Teresa has gained education in computing skills from NAIT. She is also passionate about volunteering in the Edmonton community, giving her time to the Evergreen Youth Centre, the Evergreen Saking Rink, and the Stollery Children's Hospital.
