Position: Skid Steer Operator
Start Date: As soon as possible
Wage: Hourly ($17.00-$19.00)
Hours: Requires Flexibility


Skid Steer Operator duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicate with customers and co-wokrers in a professional and courtious way
  • Have First Aid and WHMIS training
  • Have a working phone & phone number
  • Have a hard hat and work boots that are CSA approved
  • Have a valid Alberta class 5A drivers license
  • Be able to work flexible hours
  • Not be afraid of heights
  • Be able to work as a member of a team
  • Be able to follow instructions from supervisors and finish tasks assigned to them in a timely manner
  • Be punctual
  • Treat all co workers with respect
  • Follow safe work procedures and practices
  • Wash truck weekly
  • Know their way around Edmonton and the surrounding area
  • Know how to read blueprints
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to tow a trailer
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to operate equipment and attachments
  • Have mechanical knowledge of the truck and equipment being operated
  • Know how to budget time effectively
  • Fill out an equipment checklist before operating equipment (Must be done every day)
  • Fill out a vehicle checklist before operating any company vehicle (Must be done every day)
  • Fill out a trailer checklist before towing any trailer (Must be done every day)
  • Grease equipment
  • Know how to load truck & bins
